Have you ever looked at a computer and wondered:
“What’s going on inside its head?”

No?
Well… we did.

Our R&D lab has developed a state-of-the-art simulation designed to train the next intelligent life-form; and you get to be part of it.

Step into the inner workings of a digital mind, guided by our lead researcher throughout this short but memorable adventure. In this comically narrated experience, you’ll learn to process emotions, upgrade your systems, interact with strange machinery, and explore abstract landscapes.

Originally created for 2024's 1-bit jam, the full game is set to release in the second half of 2026.
This version is a complete reimagining of the first chapter, rebuilt from the ground up with brand-new music, voice-overs, mechanics, and environments.

No generative AI was used in the making of this game.

Thanks for the kind words, happy to hear you enjoyed it !

(+2)

yo surely add a turtle named virat. Also really well made demo

(+1)

Why virat ? Also thank you !

(+2)

because it gonna be cool

Fair enough :D

(+2)

very enjoyable demo! the only issue i had was that the surround sound turns down the sound to 0 in the further away ear, which is not how it works in reality, and for me at least caused some discomfort.

(+1)

Happy to hear you enjoyed it !

That is in fact not how it's supposed to go, I am unfamiliar with this behavior, do you mind sharing what platform you played it on ?

(+2)

Windows 11

(+1)

Ok thanks, will investigate !

(+2)

I cant figure out how to get it working on Mac can someone pls help

(+1)

Did you unzip it ?
Either way, I uploaded a new MacOS version alongside today's patch, do you mind trying again?

(+2)

i did unzip it but it says "This application can't be opened.

(+1)

I'm looking into it, sorry for the inconvenience !

You should make the demo free and the full game money also you should make this a vr game

(+2)

The demo is free though ?

You can click on the gray text you don't have to pay.

The game is too early to commit to VR, but we're discussing and considering porting options amongst the team.

im having an issue where my mouse sensitivity seems to be greatly increased when looking towards *something* (im really not sure what)

its causing some difficulty trying to play though since turning 180° is quite annoying

(+2)

okay it seems to be the centre of the room. i still dont know what the issue is or if theres a way i can fix it on my end thoug

(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, we've discovered a bug where the camera turns toward SAM/the shop when you look at different things, does this sound like your issue or is it something else entirely?

(+1)

We fixed that bug in yesterday's update as well as a bug that caused the sensitivity to be framerate-dependant. I hope this fixes your issues !

(+3)

Great game i thought the demo would take longer so this was a very nice suprise, I really enjoyed the gameplay and the soundtrack. Its a good naravtive game i think its as a nice potential. GG to the dev team and sound maker!

That was fun! Bug-free! Other than the voice-over cutting off at some moments, it was good! Love the graphics! Did you make the shader yourself? Or do Pixel Art for everything?

What I'd add:

1. Louder Voice-Overs: have the audio playing from two areas, and you can add a speaker 3D Model or continue using the TV.

2. Louder Music: with louder voice-overs, there's got to be louder music.

3. Randomness: Maybe change the percentage of circles to be 40–30% of the time. It'll make it slightly harder, but funner!

4. Voice-Over Timing Fixes: Don't need to add anything else; this is self-explanatory.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good job! I can't wait to see the full version!
